This term, we are learning about Rainforests. We will be finding out whereabouts in the world they are located, what the climate is like, and what plants and animals can be found there. We will also use our artwork to create a rainforest of our own! This also relates well to our science topic of plants and their life cycles.
Our English work will concentrate on story writing, trying to apply all the elements of grammar, punctuation and spelling that we have worked on over the year.
In maths, we will consolidate some of the concepts we have looked at earlier in the year, including area and perimeter of shape, long multiplication, decimals and percentages.
Of course, this term, we will also be having our sports days (weather permitting), charity stalls and our summer performance. We are hoping to fit in some more cricket coaching sessions - as we did last summer - and another swimming lesson.
All in all, a very busy final term!
Well done to all of you for your efforts - Tigers raised a whopping £52.58!
