Here at Market Deeping Community School we feel that children learn best if they find enjoyment, stimulation and security at school. Parents have a vital role to play and we endeavour to work together as a team to fully realise the potential of every child.

We were pleased that the most recent OFSTED inspection was able to recognise the many strengths of our school, with its unique blend of excellence and enjoyment.

As a result the school received an outstanding report which highlighted the exceptionally good programme for personal, social and health education which supports pupils' outstanding and personal development .

Good and outstanding teaching is supported by an outstanding, vibrant curriculum. Through this broad and interesting curriculum, the school helps pupils achieve well in all subjects where standards are well above average.

Within the Nursery and Reception Classes the inspectors reported that good teaching, a well-planned curriculum, very good resources and the effective use of very spacious accommodation help children achieve well in all areas of learning

The OFSTED report also revealed that Pupils’ behaviour is exemplary and that the classrooms are stimulating and encourage pupils to want to learn

The report concluded that:

“the pupils’ good achievement and excellent personal skills ensure that they are exceptionally well prepared for the future.”
