LKS2 2020 Summer Term Home Learning Week 12
Monday- Write a letter to your current teacher to thank them for the year. Please include what your favourite memory was of the year, what you enjoyed learning about the most and what you think you have improved most this year.
Tuesday- Draw a picture of yourself, underneath write a bit about you; this could include what your favourite hobby is, what lesson you enjoy the most, and anything that you think your new teacher would need to know!
Wednesday- Write a letter that you would now like to send to your new teacher. Tell them what you are most looking forward to, what you are aiming to achieve next year and if you have ant worries or questions (Your new teacher will aim to answer your questions/worries by next week).
Thursday- Write a list of Do’s and Don’ts for the next person going into your class. E.g for a year 2 moving up to year 3! This might include some tips on their work, what you shouldn’t be doing in the classroom and anything important that you think will help them!
Friday - Here is a extact from a non-fiction book, use your VIPERS skills to answer the questions based on what you read.
This term Year 3 are focusing on what plants need to grow and survive. This week you are going to bring all of your learning together. Complete this poster and answer questions at the bottom to show what you have learnt.
This term Year 4 are focusing on food chains and dangers to the environment. Today you are going to bring together all of your learning about food chains and dangers to the environment. Bring together all of your knowledge and do extra research to write a report about how you could help save your own local environment. Read the powerpoint for more information.
I hope you have enjoyed looking at Anglo-Saxon and Viking history. Finally we look at the Viking alphabet
This week you are going to evaluate all of your posters and the way you made them.
