Stibbington

First, we explored the grounds, completing a scavenger hunt as we searched for different locations.

After lunch, we used out newly acquired map skills to locate the treasure clues around Stibbington village. We went around the village instead of the Nature Reserve as some of the paths were still flooded.

We chilled before bed with a refreshing shower and could play some games or watch a film. We all look forward to another fun day tomorrow. 

Day 2:

 After an early wake up (unfortunately!), we chilled in the lounge.

After lunch, we got to dissect owl pellets and look at bones from moles, shrews and voles.

To end a hot day, the teachers got the children wet. 

In the evening we also had a campfire and we got to eat a fire-toasted marshmallow and sing some songs.

To say goodbye (sadly) we lowered the flag to show we were leaving.

Next, to show everyone that we had arrived at Stibbington, Nik, Jake and Arthur raised the Welcome Flag.

After dinner, we had free time followed by a game of bucket rounders during a glorious evening. Mr Abrahams got us wet (including Mr Ratchford!) with his water pistol.

After breakfast, Mr Liddle and Mr Abrahams inspected every room. We also got each room to impress us with a 30 second performance for a total score out of 10. Some of the performances were very original!

We went to Sulehay forest Thursday morning to explore woodland habitats. We also got to see a badger sett.

We also went podding and had to identify the different creatures that can be found in the pond here.

Day 3:

After emptying our rooms, we investigated renewable energy by testing solar and wind energy.

We then started the bus journey back to school.
