Stibbington 2019

Day One

We arrived promptly at Stibbington this morning, and were very excited to see where we would be spending the next few days!

We started the day off by learning about little ways that we can help the environment before we set off on treasure trail around the nature reserve during the afternoon. We have played some field games before bed time to make sure that we are suitably tired. All in all a great day had by everyone!

Day 2 began very early...

After Mr Ratchford visited during breakfast, we recapped our knowledge of food chains before heading over to Sulehey Forest. Once we had arrived, we spent the morning searching for mini beasts and creating wild flower collages amongst other activities.

In the afternoon, we dissected owl pellets so that we could investigate their diets. This was really interesting; we found lots of different bones! Before dinner we enjoyed pond dipping and hedge tickling to find more mini beasts in different environments.

In the evening, lots of our teachers from school joined us to toast marshmallows and sing songs around the campfire.

Before long we were tucked up in bed to recharge ready for day three...
